| HAITI BENEFIT
The First Church in Sterling will host a Caribbean Dinner,
Concert and Silent Auction on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 5:30 PM. Proceeds will
be divided between Haiti earthquake relief and the upcoming mission trip to
La Romana, Dominican Republic.
Tickets for the delicious chicken dinner with homemade desserts are
$8.50, $5 for children under 12, and $25 per family. Well known Worcester
folk singing duo Chuck and Mud will provide the entertainment, and a large
silent auction will be held. Call 978-422-6657 for ticket reservations.
36 people from First Church Sterling, Acton Congregational, Trinity
Church Northboro and others will spend a week in the DR in early March.
They will offer medical clinics and children's programs, support Dominican
relief efforts for Haiti, and do hospital construction. The trip is
co-sponsored by the Worcester Area Mission Society.

This is such a great event! The Heifer Project International Fair - both weekend days all say- Sat. & Sun - we play Sun. 2:00 PM - but it's happening all weekend and is such a worthy cause: to end hunger in the world!!! And,their doing it, one calf, goat, pig etc, at a time. It's an amazing organization, and Chuck and I donate our time to support the great work these people do.
It's a really great place to bring the kids for the day, and not expensive; $5 per carload! You can see Dale's famous Horse Show! Our Show! And take part in several exhibits that show the work of the Heifer Project International. Please come by!
